EBO Insect Paste is a high-quality, ready-to-use food paste with soldier fly larvae (Hermetia) as the main ingredient. These larvae contain a very high natural protein (25%). Due to this exceptionally high natural nutritional value, this food is known as a healthy fish food and is a favorite in the aquarium world, comparable to black mosquito larvae. This paste is an energy boost for almost all carnivorous and omnivorous fish species, from Cichlids to Loricariidae, since most fish in nature feed on insects that live in or fall into the water. In addition, due to its high nutritional value, it is also a very suitable food for raising young fish with very good growth results.

Because it is a ready-to-use paste, it is easy to feed and easy to dose with the included spoon. In addition, the paste can be applied to stones, wood or glass to stimulate the natural grazing behavior of e.g. plecos and other fish.

Feeding guide

Because this paste is so rich in proteins, my advice is to feed small portions and multiple times, spread throughout the day. Do not overfeed the animals to prevent overfeeding. It is possible to feed this food to both adult and young fish.
It is also important to offer a varied diet for the optimal vitality of your fish. I have had good experiences with combining this food with Nauplien paste and Youngster grow paste.

Storage instructions

It is recommended to always store the food in a well-sealed and dark place, so that the ingredients are preserved.
To extend the shelf life, you can store the food in the refrigerator. This way it will last about twice as long.
Do not freeze this product. During the freezing process, many ingredients are lost.
