Description

Futterdose Plankton paste is a high-quality, ready-to-use nutritional food paste which is based on plankton, algae and small crustaceans.
The best phytoplankton, zooplankton, various algae and small crustaceans were processed for this. Its plankton and algae make it an ideal food for omnivores, like Loricaria species, Hypancistrus species, but also eaters from East African Grave Lake, like Tropheus etc. will love this food.

This paste has a very high nutritional value, which ensures optimal development of young animals, but also for the nutrition of difficult animal species.

It is possible to feed this food to both adult and juvenile fish. Because it is a paste, you can easily knead the food into a ball for easy feeding. The pastes form a food film in the aquarium or in breeding tanks. It is also possible to spread the paste over a stone or glass to encourage the fish’s more natural eating behaviour.

Since the pastas are really rich in protein, we recommend feeding in small amounts and several times a day, but also to alternate different types of food. We have good experience in combining this food with Artemia soft granulate and Youngster grow paste.

There is of the Plankton also granulate available; Plankton soft granulate, or tabs; Plankton tabs.

 

What is Futterdose?

Futterdose is a supplier in Austria of which we are dealer in the Netherlands. They have a complete fish food-line which can be given to almost all aquarium fish. Some foods can also be fed to marine fish.
Futterdose has different types of food available such as; soft granules, pastes and sticks.
The producer of this food is Genzel, of whom we have more types of food in our shop.

We also use this food ourselves and for us it is currently the best food available!

How do I store food properly?

We recommend that you always store the food in a well-closed place in a dark place to preserve the ingredients.
To extend the shelf life, you can store the food in the refrigerator. This way it will last about twice as long.
Do not freeze this product. Many ingredients will be lost during the freezing process.
