What is the Oase BioPlus active carbon filterset?

The Oase Mousse is a filter material special made for all types BioPlus filters of the brand Oase. It is possible to order the filtermousse in different variations so that you can adapt your choice of filtermousse to meet the needs of your aquarium. In addition to using one variation, it is also possible to mix variations of the filtermousses.
They have the correct dimensions for the separated filter modules and are therefore easy to replace if the old filter material is dirty.

The filter mousse contains active carbon, therefore it is makes aquariumwater clear. Also, it filters medicine out of the water after treatment.
Only if the filter foams (depending on the fish stock) are replaced regularly can a long lifespan of your filter system be guaranteed.

How many filtermousses do I need?

BioPlus 50 and BioPlus 50 Thermo have space for 1 pieces. The BioPlus 100 and BioPlus 100 Thermo have space for 2 pieces.  And the BioPlus 200 and BioPlus 200 Thermo contain 3 pieces.

Pay attention:

If you are going to medicate your aquarium, first you have to remove the activated carbon pre-filter foam. This is because the active carbon will filter the medicine out of the water and your treatment will not work properly.
