eSHa NDX

Description

eSHa NDX is a powerful and proven effective aquarium medicine for the treatment of fresh- and saltwater aquarium fish against internal nematode worms, such as roundworms, threadworms and Camallanus. It is well tolerated and helps your fish recover from a worm infection.
20 ml is sufficient for the treatment of 450 liters of water.

Signs and symptoms of worms:

Indications of an infestation with roundworms, threadworms, and Camallanus include, for example:

• Rubbing/scratching against objects or the bottom of the aquarium:
  this can indicate irritation by worms.
• Visible (red) worms:
  especially with Camallanus infection that protrudes from the anus.
• Weight loss:
  despite normal or even increased appetite.
• Bloated abdomen.
• Protruding appendix.
• Change in feces:
  for example, white or stringy stool.
• Loss of appetite:
  this often occurs in a later stage of the infection.
• Pale coloration.
• Jerky or startled movements:
  is often a reaction to irritation.

When recognizing the above symptoms, it is important to treat the fish quickly to prevent further weakening of the animals by the parasites. If possible, confirm the diagnosis with the aid of microscopic examination.

Dosage and use

Standard dosage:
Preparation: it is recommended to perform a 50% water change on day 1, before starting treatment.
1^st day: 1 drop per liter of aquarium water.
After 24 hours: change 50% of the aquarium water OR filter over activated carbon and change 20% of the aquarium water.

Important:

• Calculate the exact volume of your aquarium (water only).
• Use a precise method to dose the drops (for example, by turning the bottle upside down and gently pressing).
• Do not overdose!
• Remove activated carbon or nitrate resin from the filter during treatment, as these can affect the effectiveness of the medication.
• Ensure sufficient aeration of the aquarium during treatment.
• The water quality must be good before using this product. It is advisable to change 20 – 25% of the water every week and to regularly vacuum the bottom.

Repetition of the treatment:

In case of egg-laying nematodes (roundworms) it is necessary to repeat the treatment 14 days after the first dose to kill the hatched eggs. In special cases, if the problems persist, the treatment can be repeated after another 2 weeks.

Storage instructions

Store eSHa NDX frost-free and in a cool, dark and dry place in the original packaging. It is possible to use opened bottles until they are empty (but not after the expiration date).

Composition/ingredients:

Levamisoli hydrochloride: 54 mg per 1 ml solution.
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (preservative): 0.85 mg per 1 ml solution.
Natrii metabisulfis (antioxidant): 1.4 mg per 1 ml solution.
Aqua: water.
